Italian Greyhounds

Help give a homeless Italian Greyhound a new home. We have puppies often, and most of the dogs surrendered to rescue are under 2 years old. If you are a less active home, or love senior dogs who love to cuddle, we have them too. All of our adoptable pets come spayed or neutered, up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested, and other medical needs addressed as prescribed by a licensed vet. Plus, since most of the dogs we have are surrendered from private owners, they have had some house training usually.

We have both males and females of all ages up for adoption, and often others waiting to come in to rescue. Our rescue reps are located in all most all states in the US (including HI and AK) and we have a few people in Canada too. So, there are likely dogs being fostered in your area, or nearby. All dogs are fostered in private homes so they can be worked with individually, and so we get to know each dog allowing us to help ensure a good fit in a new home.

Our dogs mostly come from private owners, who for one reason or another are unable to keep their dogs. Typically the main reasons quoted by the surrendering owners are high energy, house training or delicateness around small children. So, we call references and stop by to do a home visit to make sure this breed would be a good fit for any potential home.

Feel free to ask questions, even if you are buying from elsewhere. We want to help educate people on this breed and make sure they are prepared to add an Italian Greyhound to their family.
