I have been a fancier of the Bulldog since my first bully in the late 1970's. They have evolved a bit and nowadays the quality has varied. Several dogs nowadays are over-sized, too long in body, lacking bone and the trademarked wide-shoulders, too tall and long legged, lacking Head "type", in my opinion
I have bred this litter with all regards to the AKC Standard and am most aware of the "TYPE" , I bred this litter trying to keep the heavy thick-set, low swung body, wide shoulders, Massive short- faced head and as in the Great dogs I remember from the 70's and 80's. And I did say "HEAD" , ...as this IS a " HEAD" breed!
The sire is Allstarz Phantom of Tycor. He is 100% Cherokee Legend. That is the TOP LINE in the US. His sire is CH. LEGEND STETSON & his dam is a Cherokee Legend daughter of the TOP WINNING DOG IN THE HISTORY OF THE BREED, CH. CHEROKEE LEGEND ROCK. I chose this sire as he is typey and is line-bred with similar lines, so we can narrow the genetic pool and keep our "type", to assure the pups will look similar.
The Dam, Allstarz Lil Rascal is a representation of the bulldog from the 70's and 80's. She is from the fine Champion lines of Tiffany's, Briants, Millcoats and is line bred Ch. Little Pond's Chief.
