I love American Bulldogs, and would like to get one. I am not sure if they are the breed for me. I can exercise a dog for 40 miniutes day. I need a good watchdog, and a good protection dog. I need a genle, loving dog, who can be a family companion, but fearless enough to stop and intruder. Do you think the American Bulldog is for me?

We LOVE our Gryphon. He is 18 months old, and a big baby. We have assorted teenagers that wander in/out on a continuous basis, but he knows who belongs and who to stop in their tracks at the door. Bring him a younger child, and he will hug them and squeeze them and name them George. Wonderful dog, wonderful family dog, wonderful watch dog. Does need exercise though.

We have two American Bulldogs and we think that they are the best dogs in the world! They do take alot of socilization at first,puppy class is a good start.They are very strong...very strong,and can be stubborn at times.It would probrably a good idea if you got a female first,they seem to be a little more sensitive than the males,plus it's easier to bring in a male later on.Once you have one,your gonna want more!

YES... It Sounds like the American Bulldog Might be the Breed for You... They Are Loving Family Pets & Awsome Home & Family Protection... We Currently have 8 Bully Type Johnson Bloodline American Bulldogs... This is One of The Best Breeds We have Ever Owned.... We Give This Breed an A+
