My wife has a cat that was chased up a tree by a neighbors dog, The cat has been there going on 6 days and has withstood rain and freezing temperatures, The tree is in the woods behind our house. The cat is over 50 feet up the tree, I was wondering if anybody had any ideas on coaxing the cat down,, Tom

Have u called the fire Dept. ? They could get it down. And be sure to beat up the neighbors dog! I hope the cat is alright.

I have had a couple of cats that were chased up a tree by our dogs. Once we called the fire dept. I guess you could try that if it was accessible for them to get to the tree. The other times that they were chased they came down by themselves but never for that long.

part4m is right too. After a while, cats will come down. Mabey you could put food at the bottom of the tree if it doesn't come out soon. Or, shake some treats. If all those ideas fail, I'm lost unless someone else has a good suggestion.

Cats don't just like food. They like me too.
