Golden Retrievers

I am a new breeder and trying to do all my homework long before I become a "true breeder." My dog is no where near 2 years old yet and I don't intend to breed her until she is atleast that age. I have read countless articles online about breeding and whelping and the numerous things that have gone wrong. I have not bred Goldens but have some friends who do.They put lots of time and money into showing and health testing their dogs way before they even think of breeding them.
Goldens make great Obed /Agility dogs.Do you plan on showing yours at all?

research more before you think of breeding.Just because you own a dog does not mean it should be bred.
