my 2 month old toy poodle has recently been pooping blood or poop with mocous. We took him to the vet and they said they didnt see anything but they gave us some med. to give him and he felt better after like 2 hours but the next day he was worse. he has his shots and his next ones are do in like 5 days, but they wont give it to him now because it hasnt been 4 weeks since his last shots. i just want to know whats wrong with him so if anyone could please help?

Have you taken in a stool sample, and asked for a fecal float? The poop with the mucous in it is from irritation, and straining. What kind of food are you feeding him, and how is he behaving otherwise? Is he is usual active self, or is he curled up , looking miserable?

he's been playful but he sleeps more than usual. and i feed him eukanuba small breed its the hard kind. i have not yet taken a stool sample but i will when we take him. im so scared because even though i just got him i am very attatched to him.

Run, don't walk with this baby to the vet's office. This could be Parvo...hopefully not, but anytime there is bloody/mucousy poo, especially in a young puppy, it's better to be safe than sorry.
