Hello everyone, first time in the horse talk always in the dog talk , but anyway my question is any advise on treatment for my quarter horse, she got a nail in her hoof tonight it was on the edge of her nail (the rim) but in there pretty good hubby got it out but , what kind of soloution should I wrap it with ? going to call vet in the mourning but was wanting to make her more comfortable tonight ..I got proxide to clean out the dirt and nasty , ran out of antibotic so can't start that tonight either , HELP PLEASE ..MY BABY IS IN PAIN !!!!!!! Thank you Gray's mom she is a grey dapple and 23 years old now and still going ....

Yes thank you have the boot on her already, its been rainy here so kinda muddy right now, No don't have any bute either, I can't believe I let myself run out of meds for them, got cow stuff , so stocking up tomorrow to..thank you for your fast reply, I got her when she was barley 3 and broke her myself and she been my baby ever since , she is 23 now..calling Vet in the mourning soon as they open, who am I kidding I going to call and leave message for them to call me ha ha ..she queen of the pasture .....

got ahold of Vet and he gave her a tetenis shot and antibotics and pain meds, she feeling lots better now, thank for your help. Have to keep her hoof clean and dry, and she loving the treats to ....
