I have 2 barn kitties and I feed them dry food, and i can't believe how the price seemed to almost double in a few months.....what's up with that?

It's a recession, prices are going up while the product is becoming less and less. Its the same package, but less in it. It sucks.

It's a recession -- and we're experiencing DE-flation this year. Commodity prices are going down, and prices of many food items are going down. Don't know why cat food pricing would run counter to the wider economy. (I don't do very much of the household shopping, so I had not noticed.)
