poor little itty bitty dog
i had found a female rat terrier puppy she may have been jack russel or toy fox terrier. she was so tiny at her age vets werent to sure what she was. perhaps but unlikely a mix of chiuhuah about 5 mos old wandering in the streets in fontana calif.
i waited a long tome and no one seemed to be looking for her.
she was about 2/3 lbs. black and white.
i was looking to see if i could find her owners. 3 days of her being in the household someone gave her warm cows milk. she heaved an hour later. the milk caused sever dehydation due to the excessive vomiting as dogs over 6 weeks lose thier ability to digest lact ose. i was in contant communication with my vets and breeders . i am on disability and was using money to care for her that should have been used t opay bills.
she was so little she didnt have the 48/72 hrs for the symptoms to pass. i did all i could to hydrate her. tried esbliac, pedalyite, nutrical. but she went into shock and was in a constant siezures so the vet said she was to far gone to save. I AM DEVESTATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i never founf the owners but if i lost her i would want to know.
i am so sorry. (it wasnt me that gave her warm cows milk)
