8/5/2010 - We knew the time would come one day - but not just today. You fought so hard to overcome injuries only to wake up today in so much pain. A trip to the vet showed bone cancer that had spread. You were in so much pain and never complained even when you could now longer walk on your back leg and your appetite was almost gone. Today was the day to bring you peace and no more suffering. Now the suffering is left to us. I hope you know this is not what we had talked about. You were to get really old and go peacefully in your sleep. It was not to be. I hope you are at peace now. We will miss you forever. We adopted you and you adopted us and we had some good times. Rest well BOWSER!!!
