Our Loving Girl
I had to put my baby girl Mavis down this past Monday morning. She was a nine year old boxer. We had only had her two and a half years. Mavis was a rescue, she had had a very difficult life prior to coming to our home. The day we rescued her I told her she never had to worry another minute that we would be giving her a wonderful home. It was as though she looked at me and smiled. Mavis began having difficulty breathing at about 4:30am Monday morning, my wife and I rushed her to the emergency vet clinic where a large mass in her abdomen had ruptured and she bleeding profusely internally. That was when we had to make that terrible decision to say goodbye to our baby Mavis. I know witout a doubt she is at the Rainbow Bridge playing with all of God's childern. Mavis I pray for the day that you and I will play again.
