For hamsters, gerbils, rats, mice: Cover the bottom of the cage with a liberal amount of Cozy 'n Fresh pine crumbles. Change litter once a week. For house rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets: Fill the litter box with one inch of Cozy 'n Fresh pine crumbles. Scoop out the flush solid waste frequently and change the entire box weekly. For Birds: Create a layer of Cozy 'n Fresh pine crumbles on the bottom of cage. The dense crumbles will stay put in the cage. Change litter weekly. Note: Always wash hands thoroughly after scooping or cage cleaning. Any pregnant women or people with suppressed immune system should avoid any cage maintenance.
