Installation Instructions:Place a nut, lock washer, small washer, and large washer (in that order) onto the first eyebolt. Thread the eyebolt through the hole and add another large washer, small washer, lock washer, and nut. Tighten. Install the other eyebolt on the opposite side, in the same manner.Clip the turnbuckle side of the tie-out onto the first eyebolt.Clip the unattached swivel snap to the other eyebolt. Loop the loose end of the cable through the base of the snap. Pull the cable through until tie-out is taut.To secure the tie-out, fasten the loose cable with the three cable clamps being sure to tighten the clamp nuts firmly. It is important to use all three cable clamps for maximum security. Any excess cable can be cut off. Attach lead to center ring.To adjust the tie-out tension, simply rotate the turnbuckle. When the tie-out is taut, tighten the jam nuts on each end of the turnbuckle. When you unclip the tie-out from the eyebolts, it may be necessary to back off some tension with the turnbuckle. Be certain to retighten the turnbuckle when you reattach the tie-ourCheck the tension every 2 weeks, as the turnbuckle may loosen over time. Tighten if necessary.Important Instructions:No more than one pet per truck tie-out. When driving with your pet attached to the truck tie-out, care should be taken to corner slowly. The manufacturer does not assume any liability whatsoever for the life and health of your dog or damage to your truck resulting from the use of this product.Warnings:This product is intended for pets only. Keep out of children's reach. Do not use with choke type collars or for walking your dog. Never use this tie out cable near or around obstacles in which your pet can become entangled. Not all dogs can be tethered effectively - owner supervision and judgment are required. Do not leave your dog unattended on the truck tie-out. Always remember to provide fresh water for your pet.
