Rinse Activated Carbon thoroughly before use. Use « cup(8 Tablespoons) of Activated Carbon for every 10 gallons of aquarium water.Use in any filter by placing Activated Carbon in filter cartridge or bag in the flow of the water. Do not use loose or place directly in the aquarium.Replace Activated carbon every 4-6 weeks under normal use. Replace sooner if odors are detected or if water appears dirty or colored.
