It is important to keep pH values stable. Fluctuations of more than 0.5 can be very stressful. Fluctuating pH levels can indicate poor buffering capacity. In this case the KH (carbonate hardness) should be verified and corrected if necessary with Pond pH Adjust Up until the desired KH value is obtained. When increasing the KH, it is recommended to also verify the pH to ensure changes do not exceed 0.5.
