Phosphate Control is dosed per volume. It is important to accurately determine the volume of water to be treated. However, if overdosed, it cannot cause harm to any organisms or the environment of the pond. Use either feet or meters for calculation.Use 50 ml per 1,000 gallons of pond water (220 Imp. gallons - 265 US gallons) every week. Use the vial provided for an accurate measurement.For new ponds filled with tap water, treat water with Laguna Water Prep to remove chlorine or chloramine prior to adding Phosphate Control.
