Instructions: Remove the floating turtle log from the package and inspect for any outside damage. If you notice any damage return to place of purchase and exchange. Rinse the floating turtle log in warm (not hot) water for 1 minute. Place in turtle aquarium heavy side down. Cleaning: Zoo Med's floating turtle log will grow algae just like a natural log would do in nature. The algae is not harmful to your turtle, byt if you do not like th elook of the algae you can gently scrub it off with an old tooth brush. Turtle size: Zoo Med's Floating Turtle Log will accommodate two turtles with a shell length of four inches (10 cm). Additional turtles, or very large turtles can cause the log to submerge to a lower level in the aquarium.
