Instructions: Remove from packaging, and clean the Repti Shelter using Zoo Med's Wipe Out 2 cage furniture disinfectant, or by washing with dish soap and warm water. After drying with a clean towel, place the Cave inside the terrarium. Do not place the ReptiShelter directly under or over any terrarium heat source. To create a humid "microclimate," place moistened Zoo Med Terrarium Moss or Eco Earth in the bottom tray of the Cave and replace lid. Maintain the proper humidity level by periodically misting the substrate. The 3-in-1 Cave may be used dry by placing tha appropriate terrarium substrate into the bottom tray of the cave and replacing the lid. To use the Cave as an egg-laying chamber, place moistened vermiculite into the bottom tray of the Cave and replace the lid. Periodically check the Cave for eggs by lifting the lid and inspecting the contents. Consult a good book on you specific reptile or amphibian speciesto learn more about breeding and successful hatching of eggs. Cleaning Periodically clean your 3-in-1 Cave by removing it from the terrarium, discarding soiled substrate, and disinfecting using Zoo Med's Wipe Out 2 Cage furniture Disinfectant. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean towel. Return the 3-in-1 Cave to terrarium and refill Cave bottom with appropriate substrate.
