Feeding InstructionsFeed Juvenile Iguana Food from hatching to three to four feet in length.Feed Adult Iguana Food to animals over four feet in length or when slower growth is desired. Although amounts will vary between individuals, begin with one tablespoon of food per foot (length from head to tail) of animal or slightly more Kaytee Iguana Food per day than your animal consumes in one 12 hour period. Adjust as necessary.May be fed moistened to increase palatability.Mix with vegetables and fruits to encourage consumption.Important: Do not add vitamin or mineral supplements.Important: Discard moist and soiled food daily.ConversionWhen converting your iguana to its new food, gradually mix its old food with the Kaytee Iguana Food. To increase consumption and ease conversion, moisten the new food with water or fruit juice, or add pureed vegetables. Slowly (over seven to 14 days), wean your iguana off the moistened food, while increasing the proportion of dry food.For maximum freshness, store in a cool, dry location.
