The below is from a Scammer! Some of the emails may not look like scams, but they all lead to the same thing. The scammer will pay by check (cashier's check/money order) for more then the pet is worth, then they will ask you to send them back the difference in money. A couple weeks later you find out the check was fake and the bank will take it out of your account. This scam can be set up several ways.

Some key points for pointing out a scammer:
1. Doesn't care much about the pet, just the transaction.
2. Says they will use their own shipper.
3. 95% of the scammers are from overseas (Nigeria, Israel, South Africa)
4. Pays you more then the pet is worth, then asks for the difference in money back.

We all received this type of email in the mail. Now this idiot is trying to send this type of message to breeders through our website, but our "Scam Alert" system caught it. An example is below:

i am contacting you with a request that you help me conclude a transaction which will be beneficial to both of us.My name is Mr Shettima Obi and i once worked with the Nigerian Security Printing and Minting
Company during the last military regime in Nigeria.We were responsible for printing the nations money.As a former director,i had the opportunity to keep a lot of
money for personal use,which i did.I had a lot of money in different bank accounts across the country
and in some foreign accounts.These have all been frozen since the present civilian government have embarked on an economic recovery scheme.Just before
this happened,i was able to convert some money into
US$6,000,000(six million united states dollars).This i
deposited with a security company whose details i will
give to you upon your acceptance to assist me.
I am presently under house arrest and unable to travel
out of my country,hence i need your assistance to help
secure the funds and put into good use for me.I would
like to invest this money in any lucrative business
opportunity you will advise.For your assistance,i am
