Personality: My partner was bound and determined to have his red husky. Little did we know when we found our Carnage, he turned into this huge monster mommies boy! He is so much more calm and aloof than the other dogs in the pack, but when he wants to give you some love, BE READY. He is 50lbs full of lap dog lovin’, definitely the type to hop in your lap at the most random and inconvenient times just because he wants to show you he cares. We first met his breeders in Springfield, MO and they told us he was the most laid back in the group, so we knew what we were getting. In fact when we went to pick him up, he was the only one not terrorizing something in the house (as husky puppies do love to do). When lounging inside with the pack, his favorite activities include gazing out the windows, cuddling with mommy and wrestling with Claire (his 4lb chihuahua BFF).
His coat is extra long and thick but with surprisingly limited shedding. We do use the furmiator treatment on him once a month (or more often when he is blowing his coat) to keep his shedding minimal. His coloring has always been the deep rich red color he has today although his patterning has changed a little.
His eyes are very unique and special. His right eye is split between green and baby blue and it has been like that since we picked him out. His left eye is mostly light brown with a few speckles of blue mixed in but some days it turns to green.
